Being useful to others... At Leroy Merlin, we always do everything we can to be useful to others. To be useful by providing solutions to our customers - and more broadly to residents - so that they can live in better conditions in terms of comfort, safety, savings and environmental protection in particular.
The war waged by the Russian Federation against Ukraine has done nothing to diminish this way of being and acting; on the contrary, it has strengthened it even more. More than ever, we want to be of help to the many Ukrainians who have been deprived of their homes and are looking for temporary or permanent accommodation.
This is why our company, Leroy Merlin Ukraine, founded a non-profit charity in October 2022 to help Ukrainians in precarious situations with temporary and permanent accommodation. A large number of projects to restore social premises and apartment blocks and detached houses damaged by the Russian Federation's strikes have been completed, and many people have been able to return to their homes or places of refuge. Many more projects are currently underway. Thanks to the support of many donors, including the Adeo Group (our thanks to them!), our work will continue unabated, because human beings are invaluable to us.
