Major renovation of the Children's Diagnostic Center at Saint Nicholas Children's Hospital

Just imagine: the Children’s Diagnostic Center receives up to 90,000 children every year, yet neither the children nor the staff previously had proper conditions. Today, thanks to our partners, scheduled examinations and consultations can take place in comfortable, fully equipped rooms. Children can also enjoy modern play areas

I would like to thank all the donors who made an incredible gift to the community of Lviv. They brought a part of their hearts here, to children who are going through difficult circumstances. Among them are children injured during the war, displaced children, and children who need assistance due to various illnesses, including post-traumatic stress disorder

We realized that this center needed the greatest support, and we decided to help the children who come here. We clearly understood that Lviv was experiencing an influx of children from different regions, so it felt natural for us to contribute

The renovations were funded by donations from LEROY MERLIN Ukraine, the Solidarity Foundation, and Lviv IT Cluster. We are opening these premises so that children can receive treatment in comfortable conditions. This clinic is now receiving significantly more patients. In 2022, there were 48,000 patients; today the number is close to 100,000. Therefore, the level of comfort must be much higher. This is not only about renovations, but also about upgrading equipment

It is a great honor for me to be here today. This project is a very concrete example of how, starting from a real need, we can find an effective solution. It also reflects the values of LEROY MERLIN — helping where it is needed most, as well as building and rebuilding. Every time we take part in the opening of new projects — schools, centers, or hospitals — I feel immense pride. And every time the Solidarity Foundation reaches out to us, we are happy to respond. Together, we are capable of building not only walls, but also the future. That is my greatest source of pride. I would like to thank everyone for their care and commitment, and I sincerely hope that this center will be beneficial for children and their parents

On the first floor we have registration, on the second floor consultation rooms, and on the third floor diagnostic facilities. We renovated the entrance, carried out façade works, and created children’s areas and mother-and-child rooms on every floor. We also added a hearing rehabilitation office

There is a playroom — the child is interested, everything is colorful and comfortable. Everything we need is here. We book appointments in advance and come in, and it is very convenient
