Context and challenge
Rehabilitation of severely injured patients is not only about medical treatment — it is about helping a person return to life, movement, and independence. This is why Solidarity participates in the renovation of new rehabilitation spaces capable of combining treatment, diagnostics, and modern recovery technologies.
In Kyiv, on the basis of the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, the ReabiCenter was established — a modern facility for patients with severe polystructural limb injuries.
This addresses a key challenge of our time: the need for systemic, technological, and continuous rehabilitation after complex trauma.

Solidarity contribution
Our Solidarity Foundation contributed to the creation of the ReabiCenter by providing construction materials for renovation works worth 3.91 million UAH.
For us, this project is about infrastructure that brings people back to life. We intentionally support initiatives where the outcome is not only a renovated space, but a real opportunity for patients to restore function, mobility, and independence.
It is a great honor for us to support an initiative that gives our defenders the opportunity to return to active social life. The Solidarity team will continue to make every effort to ensure that every injured Ukrainian has access to high-quality rehabilitation provided by qualified specialists.

Result and impact
Modern rehabilitation is a combination of medicine and technology that allows not only recovery but also real-time monitoring of a patient’s progress.
At the ReabiCenter, equipment enables interactive diagnostics in direct cooperation with the patient. As a doctor at the center explains:
The patient can maintain balance while recovering their functions simply by playing a game… the system analyzes these movements and immediately generates a treatment plan.

Such approaches transform rehabilitation itself — from a standard recovery process into a personalized, precise, and dynamic journey.
The importance of this approach is also emphasized by military medical professionals. Chief Surgeon of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Kostiantyn Humenyuk, notes:
The sooner injured servicemen receive specialized care and quality rehabilitation, the better their quality of life will be… The task of rehabilitation is extremely important.
